My copy of Albert Camus’ The Stranger. I absolutely adore it. I got it in mid March when I visited Portland, Oregon for a week. I was just roaming the floors of Powell’s Books and came upon this beauty by chance. We were meant to be!

The stark, dark red text on the cover, the typeface that the text itself is set in, and not to mention the illustrated spreads… Everything about this  book is just lovely. The minimalism in its design really appeals to me.

Nothing beats the feel of crawling into bed with a book to take you away…
