- sketchesandbooks was reading Botchan by Natsume Soseki. Favorites: Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, Memories of My Melancholy Whores by Gabriel García Márquez, The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, and Delta of Venus by Anaïs Nin.

- joseon-queen also recommends The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, that is part of The Cementery of Forgotten Books series. “The language was very simple but was written in such a lyrical, enchanting manner I felt as if I came to Barcelona myself”.

- starchaser1874 was reading A Feast for Crows from A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. And always recommends Ender’s Game from Ender’s Saga by Orson Scott Card. “It is just a damn fine book”.

- Victus in Veritas, a multi-reader, was reading and enjoying Middlemarch: A study of Provincial Life by George Eliot, Pirate Utopias: Moorish Corsairs & European Renegadoes by Peter Lamborn Wilson, Black Opera by Mary Gentle, The Magus by John Fowles, The Cheese and the Worms: The Cosmos of a Sixteenth-century Miller by Carlo Ginzburg and Nile Shadows from The Jerusalem Quartet series by Edward Whittemore. His favorite book is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts, or perhaps Buddha’s Little Finger by Victor Pelevin.

- Just Add Music NZ was reading the Skulduggery Pleasant series by Derek Landy. “Yes they’re aimed at tweens.. yes I’m 30… but they’re fantastic!” (*Lemony Snicket fan applauds*). - Twist my Arm favorite book is The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and totally recommends it.

- Anna has loads of recommendations to make (so we hope she sends more!) but she sent us this: The Young Wizards series by Diane Duane. “It’s for kids, I know, but it’s such a good series that I still read it even though I’m an adult”.

- Geekypaz was reading A Storm of Swords from the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. Her all-time favorites are The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

- Kirsten Squire had just finished listening to Good Omens too and was reading The Feminine Mystic by Betty Friedan. Her favorites are Pride and Prejudice and Mansfield Park, both by Jane Austen.

- All Seven Warves was reading and loving Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez. Favorite all-time books: the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling but specially Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Presuasion by Jane Austen.

- Jeff Essex absolute favorite is a graphic novel called Essex County by Jeff Lemire. “His book saved me from my worst terrors”.

- Madeleine chose The Book Thief by Markus Suzak as her favorite book and placed The Fault in Our Stars by John Green as a close second.

- Quixotic Exotic is currently reading A Clash of Kings from the A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin.

- Mesonoxian Frenzy’s favorite book is The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. During a Shakespeare reading spree, was reading and enjoying (and probably finished by now) Julius Caesar.

- Finch’s Book Club favorites are the Bible and A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.

- Phlesh all-time favorite is The Good Earth from House of Earth series by Pearl S. Bucks and is currently reading The Essential Neruda for school.

- Books Before Boyfriends’s (awesome tumblr name ^_^) favorite novels: Across the Universe by Beth Revis and Incarceron by Catherine Fisher.

- Eat Distortion is reading Tiger, Tiger: A Memoir by Margaux Fragoso. All-time favorite: Two or Three Things I Know For Sure by Dorothy Allison.

- My High Fantasy has read The Way of Kings from The Stormlight Archive series by Brandon Sanderson 6 times in the past 12 months. Obviously he recommends it ;)

- Flames of a Time Lord likes fantasy books and recommends the Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix, The Warded Man and The Desert Spear from the Demon Cycle series by Peter V. Brett. He is re-reading The Black Prism by Brent Weeks before the second book of the Lightbringer series comes out.
